Face the camera directly or turn slightly left for your shot so you are not facing off screen.
The closer the better as long as we can see your face and your instrument.

There are four metronome clicks at the start of the song.
Count along 2 3 4 after the first click. Or just count 2 if you want to play pickup notes.
Or even better
Unplug your headphones so the clicks play in the room and on your recording. Plug the headphones back in to play your parts.

Needless to say I practiced these songs a lot. Then I recorded multiple takes before I got one I was satisfied with.
You can do the same. Practice with the sheet music. Practice to the iReal Pro backing track. Put on your headset and practice with your preferred method of helping me sync. Play multiple takes until you are happy with the recording. When you listen back to your video you should only hear your instrument. No piano trio.

3-4 - piano trio
5-6 - improv by soloist
7-8 - piano trio
9-10 - outtro, head, or improv by soloist
It is not necessary to improvise to play on this song. You can work up your solos while you practice and play the prepared solos.
